Stob Coire na Ceannain is the most easterly top on the Grey Corries ridge. It seems to be little visited, probably because it's not a Munro, which just goes to show how daft people can be when they're ticking lists. It's a steep cone with a small summit and a nice narrow ridge connecting it to Stob Choire Claurigh, the highest of the Grey Corries.

The weather on this day soon deteriorated with cloud dropping to about 500 metres, although the far western hills remained under cloudless skies all day thanks to a south easterly wind.
