Garbh-bheinn and Sgurr nan Each lie immediately to the north of Bla Bheinn. Sgurr nan Each runs out east from the main ridge between Clach Glas and Garbh-bheinn, and its summit ridge gives some nice easy scrambling after a straight forward ascent from Loch Slapin. Garbh-bheinn is a wonderful viewpoint and well worth climbing for itself.

The picture was taken shortly after sunrise on a beautiful clear spring morning, with every peak on the Cuillin ridge standing out sharply. An attack of lethargy had prevented me from leaving the previous evening and spending the night on the hill, so I ended up leaving the car park by the Allt na Dunaiche at 3.30 a.m. to ensure being in place by sunrise.
