Sgor Mor is a Corbett lying between the Dee and Glen Luibeg, with the summit at the western end of a broad ridge rising from the Linn of Dee. It gives wonderful views of the Cairngorms around the northern horizon.

This was a bitterly cold January day with a strong westerly wind, and the sunshine was frequently interrrupted by snow showers. I walked in from the Linn of Dee to White Bridge and up the south western slopes to the summit, before following the ridge east and down to the Linn again before darkness fell.
